New Delhi. BCCI has announced the squad of Team India for the Asia Cup Under-19 tournament (U19 Asia Cup) to be played from November 5 to November 14 in Muscat, Oman. The responsibility of captaining the Indian Under-19 team has been handed over to Lakshya Raichandani, while two former players of the team, Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid's son Aryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid have also got a place in the squad. In such a situation, everyone's eyes are going to be on the performance of these two players. Team India has got a place in Group-A in this tournament of 8 teams, which includes the under-19 teams of Nepal, Pakistan and UAE.

Indian team will compete with Pakistan on Diwali.
In the Under-19 Asia Cup, played in 50 overs format, the Indian Under-19 Team will play its first match in Group A against the Nepal team on 6 November. After this, in the second match, Team India will face Pakistan Under-19 team on Diwali day on 8th November and all the fans are eagerly waiting for this match. In the last match of the group stage, the Indian team has to play against the UAE team on 10 November. The teams finishing top-2 in the group stage will directly secure their place for the semi-finals, in which both the semi-final matches will be played on 12th November and the final match will be played on 14th November. All matches will start at 10:30 am Indian time.

If we talk about the record of Aryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid, who were selected for the Asia Cup in the Indian Under-19 Team, in the Youth ODI matches so far, then Aryavir has scored 109 runs at an average of 36.33 while playing in 3 Youth ODI matches, in which he has managed to play the highest innings of 47 runs. While playing in 4 Youth ODI matches, Anvay Dravid has so far scored 148 runs at an average of 37, in which he has also seen a half-century with his bat.
