UP Crime News: A very sensational case has come to light from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. In Kareli police station area, a man killed his 20-year-old son on suspicion of having illicit relations with his mother. The police arrested the murder accused on Sunday. According to the police, the accused has been identified as Girish Chandra Jaiswal alias Pappu Jaiswal, who was caught by the Kareli police in connection with the investigation of the murder that took place in ‘Chaat Wali Gali’ area.

Assistant Commissioner of Police (Atarsuiya) Nikita Srivastava said that the incident took place on Saturday, when the accused hit his son Priyanshu Jaiswal on the head with a heavy object, due to which he died.

He said, “During interrogation, the accused confessed to the crime and said that he suspected his son of having illicit relations with his mother, due to which he took this step.”

ACP said that on the basis of the complaint, a case has been registered in the matter under relevant sections of the Indian Justice Code and legal action is being taken.

Accused Pappu Jaiswal is a drug addict

It is being told that Pappu is a drug addict and does not work, while Priyanshu used to run the family by selling vegetables. After the murder, the accused threatened the family, locked the room and ran away. Considering the seriousness of the matter, a special team of Kareli police station was formed under the direction of ACP Nikita Srivastava.

Under the leadership of station in-charge Ashish Singh, the police continuously raided possible targets and activated a strong network of informers.
