UP Energy Expo: Big step towards making UP an EV and green energy hub, more than 10 thousand visitors arrived

Lucknow, Read: The three-day event of Energy Expo 2026 concluded on Saturday at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. This year the special focus of the expo was on EV mobility and the energy of the future. This mega event was jointly organized by UP State Chapter, PHDCCI and in collaboration with Firstview, UPNEDA, Invest UP, UPPCL. The program was supported by NTPC, SIDBI, SBI, SIGEnergy, Polycab, KEI Wires and Cables. More than 10,000 people participated in the expo.

The sessions on the last day discussed topics like policy-making, battery technology, development of public and residential charging infrastructure. Tata Motors, Reliance BP Mobility and ChargeZone companies shared ideas on enhancing fleet electrification and smart grid preparedness. Rajesh Nigam, Co-President, UP State Chapter, PHDCCI, said that the response received to Uttar Pradesh Energy Expo 2026 has been extremely encouraging.

Atul Srivastava, Senior Regional Director, UP State Chapter, PHDCCI said that the expo has emerged as an important platform for industry collaboration, policy dialogue, innovation and investment in renewable energy and electric mobility. The session covered Policy, Market Dynamics and Accelerating EV Adoption in Uttar Pradesh at the UP EV Mobility Summit. The session discussed Uttar Pradesh’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem, government policy support, EV manufacturing opportunities, battery technology developments, fleet electrification and EV financing innovations. The panel saw representatives from Tata Power, Tata Motors, Reliance BP Mobility, ChargeZone and LIB India share ideas on strengthening India’s electric mobility ecosystem.
