Lucknow. The Yogi Adityanath government of Uttar Pradesh has approved the proposal to name the Noida International Airport in Jewar, Greater Noida after Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Cabinet has passed a proposal to name the airport 'Narendra Modi International Airport Noida Jewar'. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath gave this information while talking to the media on Friday.

Proposal on PM Modi's 25 years of public leadership

The Chief Minister said that on the occasion of completion of 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the head of the government, the Council of Ministers has also passed a congratulatory resolution. On October 7, 25 years of his journey were completed. CM Yogi appreciated his leadership, public service and work related to public welfare.

Emphasis on making UP an aviation center

According to the Chief Minister, due to the efforts of the Prime Minister, the aviation sector is expanding in Uttar Pradesh. Jewar Airport is being considered an important project in terms of development and connectivity of the state. The government says that this will help in developing Uttar Pradesh as a major aviation centre.

Yogi Adityanath said that the Prime Minister has a special connection with Uttar Pradesh. Referring to his connection with Kashi and his role in the development of the state, the Chief Minister called it a matter of pride for the state.
