UP Legislative Assembly Session: All-party meeting held for peaceful functioning of the House

Lucknow. Preparations are complete for the start of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly session, which begins on Monday. A meeting regarding the legislative session was held on Sunday under the chairmanship of Assembly Speaker Satish Mahana. At the meeting, an effort was made to reach a consensus with all parties to ensure a peaceful conduct of the House proceedings.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Khanna, Cabinet Ministers Dr. Sanjay Nishad, OP Rajbhar, Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya, and others were present at the meeting from the ruling party. On the opposition side, Leader of the Opposition Mata Prasad Pandey, Lok Dal leader Rajpal Baliyan, Congress leader Aradhana Mishra Mona, and Kunwar Raghuraj Pratap Singh of the Jansatta Dal were present.

During the meeting, the Speaker appealed to all opposition parties to ensure smooth conduct of the House proceedings. Meanwhile, the Business Advisory Committee meeting outlined the Assembly’s operations. Several legislative tasks will be completed during the four-day legislative session.
