Police operation clean in UP, two big encounters in Aligarh and Mathura, two criminals killed and three injured
UP Police Encounter: With the aim of strengthening law and order in Uttar Pradesh, police action is continuing against criminals. On Monday, May 25, police came face to face with miscreants in Aligarh and Mathura districts. While in Aligarh the police killed two vicious robbers, in Mathura the members of the cattle smuggling gang were caught.
Two notorious accused, Raza Mohammad and Mubeen, have been killed in a fierce encounter between police and miscreants in Aligarh’s Atrauli area. These accused had spread terror in the area by committing several incidents of robbery with women in recent times. According to SSP Neeraj Kumar Jadaun, these miscreants had looted 10 women in Madrak police station area on May 17 and 6 more women in various other areas on May 21 at gunpoint.
Firing on police after robbery
The police were continuously monitoring the Bulandshahr border and other roads after these incidents. When the police tried to stop them in Gonda police station area, the miscreants hit the police vehicle and ran away while firing. After this, the miscreants, hiding in a mango orchard in Mandoli village of Atrauli, fired continuously at the police. Despite the police warning to surrender, they continued firing, in which two constables were injured and the police vehicle was also hit by bullets. After this, the police retaliated in self-defense, in which both of them were shot and they were declared dead in the hospital.
Who was Raza Mohammad?
The criminal history of the slain criminals was extremely horrifying. A total of 40 cases were registered against Raza Mohammad and he was active in many districts including Hapur, Ghaziabad, Aligarh and Bulandshahr. The SSP revealed that Raza Mohammad had also raped a woman during a robbery in Noida and was released from jail only last month. A total of 27 cases including 18 cases of robbery were registered against the other criminal Mubeen. The police had announced a reward of Rs 25,000 on them on the night of 21st May.
Three injured smugglers in police custody
In another major action, an encounter took place between police and animal smugglers in Jait police station area of Mathura on Monday. When the police encountered this gang while checking suspicious vehicles, the miscreants, seeing themselves surrounded, started firing directly at the police team. In retaliatory firing by the police, three cattle smugglers were injured by bullets in their legs, who were immediately arrested and admitted to the hospital.

Cash and weapons worth lakhs recovered
Mathura Police has recovered Rs 1.40 lakh in cash, three pistols and a huge quantity of cartridges from the possession of the arrested smugglers. The police is now trying to find out other members of this gang and their criminal history. Earlier on May 20 also, Govindnagar Police of Mathura had arrested ‘land gang’ A member of the RSS was arrested after the encounter, against whom eight cases were registered and he had recently fatally attacked a person.
