Uproar at Harbhajan Singh’s house, busy in IPL, people wrote ‘traitor’, know the reason

New Delhi: On Friday (24 April 2026), 7 members of Aam Aadmi Party left the party and joined BJP. In which the names of Raghav Chaddha, Harbhajan Singh and Swati Maliwal were also included. This decision surprised everyone. This matter deeply hurt especially the AAP supporters. The very next day of changing the party, cricketer Harbhajan had to bear the brunt of this decision.

AAP workers reached Harbhajan’s house! 

According to media reports, political turmoil has intensified in Punjab over Rajya Sabha MPs leaving Aam Aadmi Party and joining BJP. Protest was expressed by writing ‘Traitor of Punjab’ in black paint on the wall outside the house of former cricketer and MP Harbhajan Singh. Let us tell you that Bhajji is currently busy in IPL.

Apart from this, Aam Aadmi Party workers took to the streets wearing black bands. A video of this incident has also surfaced, in which some people are writing on the wall with spray paint. Police were present on the spot, but no special effort was seen to stop them.

Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann launched a scathing attack on the MPs who left the party. In a press conference in Chandigarh, he called the defectors as ‘traitors’. Mann said that these leaders have broken the trust of not only the Aam Aadmi Party but also the people of Punjab.

Mann accused BJP of politics of fear and greed   

Let us tell you that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann alleged that BJP is doing politics of defection due to lack of land in Punjab. He said that BJP is adopting the strategy of fear, greed and pressure to break the Aam Aadmi Party. Mann said that BJP’s uneasiness has increased after the implementation of strict law against ‘sacrilege’ in Punjab.

CM Bhagwant Mann further said in this sequence that BJP has a problem with Punjab and Punjabis. Whatever gives happiness to the people of Punjab, BJP tries to spoil it. He alleged that when the Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Punjab, the Center stopped the funds for rural development of the state.
