US Crime: A 37-year-old nurse and her boyfriend were found dead in an apartment in New York City (America). When the father heard on the phone that the game was over, he called the police. In fact, a father had to hear all this on the phone when his 37-year-old daughter was shot by her boyfriend (he was a federal agent) in their New York City apartment. Immediately after this, the attacker committed suicide by shooting himself.
Knowing this the father immediately called the police. Just after 9 pm on Tuesday night, police arrived at the Bronx apartment where St. Barnabas Hospital nurse Andrea Cantarini was found dead. He was shot in the head. According to New York City police, her boyfriend, 38-year-old Juan Cornelio Diaz (who was a Customs and Border Protection (CBP) agent at John F. Kennedy International Airport), was also found dead nearby. He was also shot in the head.
Police are now investigating the incident as a case of 'murder-suicide', which appears to be the result of a domestic dispute. Cantarini's father said that his daughter wanted to break up with Diaz, but he could not bear it. He was a coward.
Diaz was attempting murder
Rudy Cantarini told the New York Daily News that Diaz held a gun to his temple while he was on the phone for 14 minutes. He was begging to spare his life, but he took his life. Police said Cantarini had called his father and told him that Diaz was trying to kill him. After this the father called 911 from another line and told the police the entire situation.
I heard my daughter's screams
According to 'AMNY', after this he heard his daughter's screams and then three gunshots were heard. Cantarini told that I was repeatedly pleading him to leave my daughter, but he did not agree. He told that Diaz had told his troubled father – 'Now this game is over.'
Initially he thought it was the sound of a truck's silencer, but then he heard 'huge sounds of a body falling to the ground'—although he did not know what they were at the time.
