Nihang Sikhs Bail: Four Nihang Sikhs, who were arrested by the police after a dispute with the local people in Karnaprayag of Chamoli district on June 16 in Uttarakhand, have got bail today. On June 27, District and Sessions Judge Vindhyachal Singh, while hearing the bail plea of ​​Nihang Sikhs, ordered their release on bail. However, after bail, the hearing of the case will still continue in the court. Further action will be taken as per necessary legal process. Police are on high alert in Uttarakhand after the clash between local people and Nihang Sikhs on June 16.

The District and Sessions Court of Gopeshwar has granted bail to four Nihang Sikhs who were in judicial custody in the case of assault that took place on June 16 in Karnaprayag in Chamoli district. District and Sessions Judge Vindhyachal Singh approved their bail applications and ordered their release on bail.

It is noteworthy that after the clash between Nihang Sikhs and local residents in Karnaprayag on June 16, the police had registered a case against the Nihangs under several sections, including attempt to murder, for allegedly attacking the local residents.

Four Nihang Sikhs were arrested after the incident of fighting between Nihangs and local people in Karnaprayag and Rudraprayag of Uttarakhand. Police had imposed Section 163 at both the places and internet service was also stopped. Police and army personnel are continuously monitoring the security. The controversy started from Rudraprayag after Karnaprayag. Here in the Gurudwara, the servant was beaten up and the passenger was taken hostage. Nihangs were angry over the Gurudwara management not taking a stand regarding the incident in Karnaprayag.
