15 year old Vaibhav Suryavanshi has now become the batsman to score the fastest half-century in List-A cricket. He has shattered the 20 year old record of Kaushalya Weeraratne of Sri Lanka.

It is noteworthy that in the last three matches played in the series, Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s bat was quiet and he was able to score only 117 runs. His highest score was 44. Suryavanshi was getting starts, but he was not converting them into big innings. In the final match, he pulled out all the stops of the last three matches.

Sri Lanka got the target of 378 runs to win
