According to media reports, two very strong earthquakes of magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 occurred in the same area of Venezuela on Wednesday evening (local time). On the other hand, information has been provided by the US Geological Survey (USGS) that many buildings collapsed in Venezuela due to the earthquake. Due to the earthquake, people in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, came to the streets out of fear. Venezuelan Interior Minister Diosdado Cabello said some buildings collapsed and parts of the roofs of many houses collapsed.

Odalis Escalona, a 54-year-old bank employee living in the capital Caracas, said that due to the earthquake, stairs broke and the entire wall cracked. Things started falling from the roof. it was very scary. According to USGS, the epicenter of the first earthquake was 21 kilometers west of Moron city located near the coast. Within a minute, a second earthquake of 7.5 magnitude occurred about 45 kilometers away.

Earthquake in Japan, tremors felt till Tokyo

On the other hand, a powerful earthquake has also occurred in Japan, due to which the fear of economic loss has been raised. An earthquake of 6.9 on the Richter scale has occurred in Japan. According to media reports, a powerful earthquake of 6.9 magnitude occurred in Northern Japan on Wednesday evening. Due to this, houses started shaking and people came out of fear. It is being said that the tremors of the earthquake were felt hundreds of kilometers away even in the capital Tokyo. According to officials associated with the Meteorological Department, there is no news of any injury or death so far and no tsunami warning has been issued.
