Bankipur Election Result: The ruling BJP has suffered a major setback in the by-election held in Bihar’s Bankipur Assembly constituency. Jan Suraj chief Prashant Kishor is on the verge of victory. This has raised the political temperature in Bihar. Rohini Acharya has targeted her brother and RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav over this. She has also congratulated Prashant Kishor on his victory.
Rohini Acharya wrote on social media, “The result of the Bankipur by-election has once again proved that, ‘Victory is definitely for those who fight continuously, who have constant connection with the public, who respect the workers and supporters and maintain contact and communication with them.'”
He further wrote, “This victory is a victory of opposition to the BJP and the public’s faith in democracy. Hearty congratulations to the winner and best wishes for a dedicated tenure and future.”
The result of the Bankipur by-election has once again proved that “victory is certain for the one who fights continuously, who has constant connection with the people, who respects the workers and supporters and maintains contact and communication with them”.

After coming close to victory in Bankipur, Jan Suraj Party founder and candidate Prashant Kishore has given his first reaction. He said that the BJP’s 30-year-old stronghold here collapsed in 30 days. This election was not about electing
an MLA. I have no personal rivalry with Samrat Chaudhary, but through this election, the people of Bihar have sent a message to the BJP: make a person of good character and capable the Chief Minister of Bihar. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah should show as much concern for Gujarat as they should for Bihar so that migration from here can be stopped and unemployment can be reduced. Thank you to those who voted for us. To those who did not, I want to say that we will work harder and strive to win your trust. My becoming an MLA will not turn Bankipur into Bangalore, but you will definitely see a difference in two to three months.
