Nainital. In the Ramgarh Block of Nainital District in Uttarakhand, some girls taught two men a lesson so powerful that they will think twice before committing such an act again. While passing through Satauli village in a car, these men molested some women they encountered along the way. After this, four women of the village turned into lionesses and attacked the two men.
These women not only brutally beat the men with shoes and slippers, but also smeared their faces with soot and, along with other people, applied the burning herb stinging nettle. A video of the beating is going viral on social media, showing the girls fearlessly teaching the men a lesson. The police have registered a case against the accused men.
The accused men were from a neighboring state.
The incident occurred on Friday, and both men are said to be from Moradabad. It is alleged that when the men protested the harassment, they resorted to violence, prompting angry villagers to apprehend them and beat them. During this, young women and other villagers smeared the men’s faces with black ink and branded them with scorpions. Police arrived at the scene, informed by the village head, and detained the men and confiscated their car. The accused were detained at the police station overnight.
Molested Girls While Passing Through the Village
Villagers reported that the men in the car began harassing and passing lewd comments as soon as they arrived in the area. When the women resisted, they became even more abusive. The villagers then informed village head Meera Bhandari. Seeing the crowd gathering, the men in the car tried to flee.
They told the girls they would become their bodyguards.
The accused men are said to be residents of Bilari in Moradabad district, Uttar Pradesh, and had come to Satauli for work. During this time, they not only teased and harassed local girls, but also offered to become their bodyguards. Meanwhile, two of the men were caught by villagers. The angry villagers, along with the women, beat them up and informed the police. According to information received, the men had come to work at a wellness center in the area.
According to information received from Village Head Meera, Outpost In-charge, Khairna, Satish Upadhyay, arrived at the scene with his team and took the men into custody. The officer stated that the car was seized along with the two men in custody. Further action will be taken after a medical examination and a written complaint.
