A similar story is of actor Vindu Dara Singh and actress Farah Naz. Both of them got married in the year 1996, but their relationship broke up in 2002. Now, after almost three decades of marriage, Vindu has spoken openly about the reasons for his divorce for the first time.
What changed in Farah after returning from Hajj?
During a conversation on Bindas Bol podcast, Vindu Dara Singh shared many things about his first marriage. He said that there was no major religious dispute between him and Farah in the initial years of their marriage. However, according to him, things started changing after Farah went on Haj. Vindu said that there was a change after Haj. That is why people say that Hindus and Muslims should not marry. My father also said so. After returning from Hajj, she agreed that she wanted to convert to Islam, not Hinduism.
The distance between the two was increasing due to religion.
Vindu claimed in the conversation that Farah’s religious views were not the same as before. According to her, after returning from Haj, Farah’s perspective changed and she wanted Vindu to also embrace Islam. Vindu also said that Farah believed that other religions had emerged from Hinduism. Recalling his old days, he said that there was no religious system here. But when she came, there was a change, there was discord.
According to Vindu, this difference in religious views caused tension in the marriage. However, he also clarified that there was no lack of love in their relationship, but the conflict of ideas gradually started creating problems.
Why did a relationship that started with love not last?
Recalling their marriage, Vindu said that both of them started their relationship with love and spent many beautiful years together. But when the discord between husband and wife started increasing, it became difficult to live together.
He said that the foundation on which marriage was based on love, started weakening again. Therefore, when husband and wife fight, either settle down or go away. This is better, because there is no benefit from it.
Called Farah a good mother
Despite the divorce, Vindu expressed respect for Farah Naz. He said that he has a son and Farah is a great mother. According to him, the end of their relationship does not change the fact that they had spent some wonderful moments together. Farah Naaz is the elder sister of actress Tabu. He worked in many films in the 1990s. Vindu Dara Singh also has a distinct identity in the world of film and television. Their marriage ended in 2002.
