The series picks up following Vision’s resurrection in WandaVision (2021). Living in isolation, Vision goes into hiding to piece together his true identity, communicating with various AI personas embedded in his programming—including J.A.R.V.I.S., F.R.I.D.A.Y., E.D.I.T.H., and Ultron—each offering conflicting views on humanity and free will.
His solitude is shattered when a bounty is placed on his head, forcing him on the run alongside Thomas Shepherd, a mysterious teenager with deep ties to his past. Together, they must evade relentless pursuers while Vision fights to suppress Ultron’s sinister influence within his own mind.
Paul Bettany reprises his iconic role as Vision, starring alongside James Spader (returning as Ultron), Ruaridh Mollica, Todd Stashwick, T’Nia Miller, and a stellar ensemble cast.
Created for television by showrunner Terry Matalas and directed by a talented team including Christopher J. Byrne, Gandja Monteiro, and Vincenzo Natali, VisionQuest promises a deeply psychological and action-packed exploration of life, legacy, and what it truly means to be human.
