Technology Desk: Vivo has launched its new flagship X500 series in China. Three smartphones have been introduced in this series. These include Vivo X500, Vivo X500 Pro and Vivo X500 Pro Max.
The new MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset has been provided in the Pro model of the series. According to the company, it is made on 2nm process. At the same time, the top model has a large battery of 8,000mAh.
Vivo X500 price starts from Rs 79 thousand
Vivo X500 is priced at CNY 5,499 for the 12GB RAM and 256GB storage model. This is around Rs 79,000 in Indian currency. The price of its 12GB + 512GB model is around Rs 86,000. Whereas the 12GB + 1TB variant costs around Rs 1 lakh. The sale of this phone in China will start from September 24.
Price of X500 Pro is around Rs 93 thousand
The starting model of Vivo X500 Pro comes with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Its price is CNY 6,499 i.e. around Rs 93,000. The price of its 12GB + 512GB model is around Rs 1.07 lakh. The price of 12GB + 1TB variant is around Rs 1.22 lakh. The sale of this model will start in China from September 29.
Price of X500 Pro Max starts from Rs 1 lakh
Vivo X500 Pro Max is the top model of this series. Its starting price is CNY 6,999. This is approximately Rs 1 lakh in Indian currency. It has 12GB + 256GB, 12GB + 512GB and 16GB + 512GB options. Its top 16GB + 1TB model has also been introduced. The sale of X500 Pro Max will start in China from September 24.
The X500 has a 144Hz AMOLED display
Vivo X500 features a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display. Its refresh rate is 144Hz. It has HDR support and 300Hz touch sampling rate. The phone has also received IP68 and IP69 ratings. That means the body of the phone has been designed for protection from water and dust.
50MP camera with 100x zoom
Vivo X500 has a triple rear camera setup. It has a 50MP primary camera. It has a 50MP ultrawide and 64MP periscope telephoto camera. The phone supports 3.1x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom. The phone has a 50MP front camera for selfie.
7500mAh battery and 90W charging
Vivo X500 has a 7,500mAh battery. It supports 90W wired charging. The phone also has support for 40W wireless charging. For connectivity, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and USB Type-C are provided.
2nm chipset in Pro model
Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max have MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro chipset. It is based on 2nm process. Its peak clock speed is said to be 4.55GHz. Mali-G2-Ultra-NX GPU is also provided in the phone. Both models have up to 16GB of LPDDR5x Ultra RAM. Storage is up to 1TB.
200MP telephoto camera in Pro Max
The camera is a major feature of the Pro Max model of this series. It has a 200MP telephoto sensor. Whereas Vivo X500 Pro has a 64MP periscope telephoto camera. Both phones have a 50MP primary and 50MP ultrawide camera. For selfie, both models have a 50MP front camera.
Pro Max will have 8000mAh battery
Vivo X500 Pro has a 6,510mAh battery. Whereas Pro Max has a large battery of 8,000mAh. Charging speed like X500 has been provided in both the phones. In-display fingerprint sensor is also available in these.
No information yet regarding launch in India
Vivo has currently launched the X500 series in China. No information has been revealed yet regarding the launch of these phones in India. Information related to the Indian launch of the series may be revealed after the sales start in China.
