In Haryana, Congress has announced to intensify its protest regarding the election process. The party will take out vote theft protest march in all the districts of the state on September 28. Congress workers will march to the District Deputy Commissioner (DC) offices and demand the resignation and arrest of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.
According to the instructions issued by the Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee, to make the demonstration effective in all the 22 districts of the state, senior leaders, MPs and MLAs have been given the responsibility of different districts. Earlier on September 25, Haryana Congress had demonstrated in Chandigarh, where the police used barricades and water cannons to stop the protesters.

Demand for CEC's resignation and arrest
Congress alleges that there should be an impartial inquiry into the functioning of the Election Commission and the decisions related to the voter list. The party has demanded that Chief Election Commissioner Gyanish Kumar be removed from the post and action be taken against him. Also, there should be an independent review of the election related decisions taken during his tenure and the changes related to addition and deletion of names in the voter list.
Senior leaders will take charge in these districts
Congress has assigned the responsibility of different districts to senior leaders for the demonstration. AICC Haryana in-charge Sanjay Dutt and state president Rao Narendra Singh will jointly lead the protests in Palwal and Gurugram. In Rohtak, Congress Legislature Party leader Bhupendra Singh Hooda and in Kaithal, MP and AICC General Secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala will lead the front. In Ambala, MP Deepender Singh Hooda and in Panchkula, former state Congress president Chaudhary Birendra Singh will lead the protest. Dharampal Malik has been given the responsibility in Panipat, Ashok Tanwar in Mahendragarh and Chaudhary Udaybhan in Sonipit.

MPs and MLAs also got responsibility
Jaiprakash in Faridabad, Varun Chaudhary in Yamunanagar and Satpal Brahmachari in Jind will lead the protest. AICC Secretary Jitendra Baghel in Rewari and MLA Raghuveer Singh Kadian in Ijjar will take charge. Similarly, Ashok Arora has been given the responsibility in Kurukshetra, Geeta Bhukkal in Charkhi Dadri and Aftab Ahmed in Nuh. Bharat Singh Beniwal in Sirsa, Balwan Singh in Fatehabad, Chandra Prakash in Hisar, Rao Dan Singh in Karnal and Dr Shiv Shankar Bhardwaj in Bhiwani will coordinate.
