Weather Warning: The weather pattern across the country is shifting once again. In its latest bulletin, the Meteorological Department has issued warnings regarding severe heat and heavy rainfall across various states of the country. According to the department, a warning for rain and thunderstorms has been issued for 13 states—including Uttar Pradesh and Bihar—for May 26. During this period, strong winds gusting up to 85 kilometers per hour are also possible.

Furthermore, the Meteorological Department indicates that severe heatwave conditions are likely to persist in Central and Northwest India for the next 4 to 5 days. Additionally—with the exception of certain parts of Rajasthan—a decline in maximum temperatures and relief from heatwave conditions is anticipated starting May 29 in Central India, the adjoining Northern Peninsula, as well as Eastern and Northwest India. Currently, most parts of the country are experiencing scorching heat, leaving the public in a state of severe distress.
