Patna. There is a change in the weather in Bihar with the beginning of October. The Meteorological Department has predicted the possibility of rain, strong wind and thunderstorm in 19 districts of the state. The weather is expected to be more active between October 6 and 9, while no major alert is expected on October 10 and 11.
Today there may be rain and thundershowers in many districts of Bihar including Buxar, Gaya, Patna, Siwan, Rohtas, Aurangabad, Saran, Bhojpur and Muzaffarpur. The weather is also expected to be affected in Vaishali, Samastipur, Darbhanga, Madhubani, Purnia, Kishanganj, Katihar, Araria, Bhagalpur and Lakhisarai.
Wind can blow up to 40 km per hour
Apart from this, there is a possibility of strong winds in some areas during the rains in these districts of Bihar. Their speed can reach around 30 to 40 kilometers per hour. Along with this, there will also be danger of lightning and thunderbolt.
People have been advised to exercise caution during bad weather. Avoid going to open places during thunderstorms and maintain distance from trees, electric poles and other tall structures. If possible, stay indoors during inclement weather.
