Wedding Bells For Huma Qureshi & Rachit Singh Later This Year, Preparations Underway: Report

Mumbai: Huma Qureshi and her partner Rachit Singh are reportedly planning a close-knit wedding in Mumbai around October-November, with a grand reception for industry guests to follow.

According to a Hindustan Times report, the couple, having kept their relationship under wraps, has already started preparations for the big day. However, official confirmation from Huma and Rachit is awaited.

“They are planning an October end or November wedding as of now. The preparations have begun,” a source was quoted as saying by HT.

The celebrations are expected to mirror Huma’s personal style — intimate, understated, and centered around close family and friends.

“Knowing Huma she will have a good intimate wedding party and then throw a reception for the industry. May be not a lavish wedding but something that only her close friends and family will attend, followed by a big reception. As of now its most probably looking like Mumbai,” the source added.

Rumours about their relationship had been circulating for a while.

The couple was seen together at a screening of ‘Thamma’ and later made a joint appearance at Sonakshi Sinha’s wedding, which grabbed attention.

In September 2025, a report by HT stated that they got engaged in the US.

Speaking about the lovebirds, a source shared, “Huma and Rachit have been going strong for a while as a couple and on Sunday, he proposed to her in an intimate proposal and she said yes. It was a close-knit affair that took place in the US. They are yet to decide when they want to make it official by announcing it publicly.”

The two were recently spotted travelling together through Mumbai airport, one of the few occasions they have been seen publicly as a couple.

Rachit, who hails from Varanasi, moved to New Delhi in 2012 and briefly explored modelling before relocating to Mumbai in 2016 to pursue a career in entertainment, as per his IMDb profile. Early in his career, he worked closely with casting director Atul Mongia and was involved in setting up Artist Collective, a platform dedicated to actor training.

Over time, he has built a solid reputation as an acting coach.

Before dating Rachit, Huma was in a relationship with filmmaker Mudassar Aziz. After dating for nearly three years, the two parted ways in 2022.
