Let us tell you that due to the direct contest between Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Shubhendu Adhikari, Bhawanipur has become one of the election constituencies attracting the most attention. Shubhendu Adhikari said, ‘Hindu brothers are voting for me. Bangladeshi Muslims were creating ruckus. Those who created all the ruckus were Bangladeshi Muslims whose votes have been cut off. Muslim people are committing atrocities on Hindu brothers.

Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said, “Atrocities started since last night and many of our people have been arrested. They have not even spared women and children. This is contempt of court. I have never seen this kind of democracy. Trinamool Congress is winning the elections. CRPF cannot torture people like this. State police are not visible at any booth, they have taken everything under their control. The borders should be protected, but instead they are busy benefiting a political party. I have contested elections since 1984, but have never seen such atrocities before.

Mamta further said that I have been contesting elections since 1984 and this time so much atrocities are happening. They killed women, children… At Ranaghat, Kalyani, Arambag, Ghoghat, Canning, they threw out our agents. Is this a free and fair election? Meanwhile, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee voted at a polling booth. After voting, serious allegations have been made against the central government and security forces.
