Voting will be held again in West Bengal tomorrow, Election Commission took a big decision, taped on BJP’s button

West Bengal Repolling: The Election Commission has announced re-polling at 15 booths in West Bengal on May 2. The Election Commission said that re-polling will be held on Saturday in 11 booths of Magrahat West Assembly Constituency of South 24 Parganas and 4 booths of Diamond Harbor Assembly Constituency. The Election Commission said that on the basis of reports received from the Returning Officer and observers of Magrahat West Assembly Constituency and Diamond Harbor Assembly Constituency, the decision to conduct re-polling at 15 booths has been taken. Voting will take place from 7 am to 6 pm.

Candidates will be given written information

The Election Commission has directed the concerned officials to make wide publicity by playing bugles in the polling area and to inform the concerned candidates in writing about the date of re-voting. Immediately inform the concerned Returning Officer/Supervisor about this and they should be instructed to act.

Let us tell you that voting was held in the second phase of assembly elections on April 29 at these polling stations. The Election Commission had also received complaints of some irregularities at these places. There was no recommendation for re-polling in the first phase of elections. The first phase of elections was held on 23 April. This time there was a record more than 92 percent voting in West Bengal. Counting of votes will be done on May 4.
