Vaibhav Sooryavanshi: The match between East Zone and North East Zone was played in the quarter final 1 of Duleep Trophy 2026. East Zone did wonders with batting and bowling. In the quarter-final match, North East Zone won the toss and decided to bowl first. East Zone had a bad start. However, the middle order batsmen showed their magic. East Zone team made a huge score of 467 runs in 112.5 overs in the first innings. In reply, North East Zone team was all out for 111 runs after playing 42.5 overs in the first innings. Even while playing follow on in the second innings, North East Zone’s batting was very poor. The team could score only 146 runs. East Zone registered a landslide victory by an innings and 210 runs.
