Lucknow: Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust has appointed retired Air Marshal Jitendra Mishra as the first Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the temple to improve the operations of the Ram temple. Let us tell you, Mishra, who has served in the Indian Air Force for almost four decades, will now take charge of the administrative and day-to-day arrangements of the Ram Temple. Started career as fighter pilot
Jitendra Mishra is a resident of Bhopatpura village of Bhatparrani area of Deoria district of Uttar Pradesh. He started his career as a fighter pilot in the Indian Air Force on 6 December 1986. In a long military career, he flew more than 18 different types of aircraft and gained more than 3,000 hours of flying experience.
Along with this, Mishra has worked in many important positions in the Air Force, where he has held responsibilities at the level of Commanding-in-Chief. Apart from this, he also held the post of Deputy Chief (Doctrine, Organization and Training) in the Integrated Defense Staff. He has experience of training in major defense institutes of America and Britain apart from India.
While working in the Air Force, Mishra also did work related to the management of large organizations and coordination between different agencies. This experience is now being considered important for him in handling the arrangements of Ram temple.
What will be Mishra's biggest challenge?
His appointment as the first CEO of Ram Mandir has come at a time when the work of the temple is no longer limited to construction only. A large number of devotees reach here every day. In such a situation, there are many responsibilities like arrangements for darshan, security, management of employees, facilities for devotees and better coordination between different departments.
Considering Mishra's military career, it is believed that his discipline and administrative experience will be useful in organizing the arrangements of the temple. Improving the facilities for the large number of devotees coming and keeping the operations smooth will be an important challenge for them. For Jitendra Mishra, who rose from a small village in Deoria to the top positions of the Indian Air Force, becoming the CEO of Ram Mandir is a new responsibility in his career. Now he will handle the administrative system of the temple in Ayodhya and work on improving it further.
