Subhadeep Ghosh will now serve as the fielding coach for the Indian team. Previously, this role was held by T. Dilip, who was recently relieved from Team India.

Shubhdeep Ghose never had the opportunity to play for India’s senior team, but now he’s ready to make his debut as a coach. 57-year-old Shubhdeep isn’t a big name in Indian cricket, but he has considerable experience in both playing and coaching. He has played first-class cricket for Assam and Railways in domestic cricket and has gradually established himself in coaching.

Shubhdeep has been with the Indian team for a long time
Shubhdeep has been associated with the Indian team for a long time. She was added to Team India in 2020. She played a key role in preparing the women’s team for several important overseas tours. She also worked on Team India’s fielding during the Under-19 World Cup in South Africa.
He also served as the fielding coach of the Indian men’s team at the 2023 Asian Games in Hangzhou, where the team won the gold medal. Furthermore, Shubhdeep was also with the team on the recent tour of Zimbabwe.
He has worked with Gautam Gambhir before.
Shubhdeep Ghosh has also worked with teams like Kolkata Knight Riders and Delhi Capitals in the IPL. He has previously worked with current Team India head coach Gautam Gambhir. In 2014, when Gambhir was the captain of KKR, Shubhdeep was part of the team’s support staff.
Shubhdeep’s cricketing career spanned 17 first-class matches, scoring 316 runs in 25 innings. He also played 17 List A matches, scoring 307 runs in 17 innings.
