Who Was Prince Abdullah: A 29-year-old Saudi prince has died in a luxury hotel in London after taking a lethal combination of alcohol, party drugs and prescription medication. The prince has been identified as Abdullah bin Fahad bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud. According to The Sun report, on November 25, he was found dead in his room at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington after suffering cardiac arrest due to taking several types of drugs.

Found dead in hotel bathroom

Prince Abdullah bin Fahd bin Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Jalawi Al Saud was found lying on the bathroom floor of his room at the Marriott Hotel in Kensington when a cleaner entered the locked room. Despite efforts by paramedics to revive him, he was declared dead at the scene on November 25 last year. According to The Telegraph, the prince checked into the hotel on November 19 and was last captured on CCTV the previous evening when he stepped out for a cigarette before returning to the hotel alone.

Who was Prince Abdullah?

Prince Abdullah was from the Jalawi branch of the House of Saud. This royal family has been ruling Saudi Arabia since the beginning of Saudi Arabia in 1932. Unlike senior members of the monarchy, who regularly undertake public or diplomatic work. He mostly stayed away from the limelight, and little is known about his studies, career or official responsibilities. The Saudi Royal Court announced his death in December 2025 and funeral prayers were held at the Imam Turki bin Abdullah Mosque in Riyadh.

Treatment for drug abuse

The inquiry also examined Prince Abdullah’s efforts to address his drug abuse in the months before his death. In August 2025, he was admitted to Priory Hospital, Roehampton. So that detoxification can be done for alcohol, benzodiazepines and anti-anxiety drug pregabalin. He was later transferred to Rainford Hall in Merseyside to continue his recovery.
