Sunil Darshan, during a recent conversation, recalled the period in Akshay Kumar's career and personal life when he was working on the film Jaanwar. According to the filmmaker, there was a serious relationship between Akshay Kumar and Shilpa Shetty at that time. Sunil Darshan also felt at that time that both of them would take their relationship to the point of marriage.
He told that everything was going well between the two at the time of the animal but later some misunderstandings arose. Sunil Darshan explained to him that he had definitely gone to Hrithik Roshan's house but no film had been signed and the whole thing was a result of a misunderstanding.
