New Delhi. There was a heated argument between Yashasvi Jaiswal and Asitha Fernando during the second match of the recently concluded Indian cricket team's 2-Test series in Sri Lanka. Things had gone from bad to worse as it appeared that Jaiswal was about to headbutt the Sri Lankan player who was wearing a helmet. Both players were fined 25 percent of their match fees. There is a good bonding between Dhruv Jurel and Yashasvi Jaiswal, both play for the same franchise (Rajasthan Royals) in IPL. In a conversation with Aakash Chopra, Jurel told that when Yashasvi was out, he started going straight towards the dressing room, but the Sri Lankan player was continuously abusing him.
This debate took place on the very first day of the Colombo Test. Fernando took the wicket of the opening batsman, he started going to the pavilion but suddenly turned and started saying something to the bowler. Jaiswal was so angry that he almost hit his head while wearing his helmet. Both of them were separated by other Sri Lankan players. It's been almost a month since this happened.

Jurel said that if you see the footage, you will see that Yashasvi Jaiswal immediately turned back. He was going to the pavilion but the Sri Lankan player was abusing him. Jaiswal told me that the Sri Lankan player was continuously being abused.

Jurel told that Jaiswal told the Sri Lankan player that it is okay that you got me out, you show normal aggression, but you cannot use abusive words. He further said that Yashasvi does not start from the front but if someone provokes him, he knows how to respond.
When Aakash Chopra told him that Yashasvi Jaiswal is very enthusiastic, wouldn't you like to say something to him, he replied? On this Jurel said that of course, I did not see him starting.
