While sharing the picture on social media, Alia wrote the caption, “Reunited” i.e. “Come together again. Alia's first look released from 'Love and War' has created a stir in the hearts of the fans. It is going to be interesting to see Alia in a retro look and character on screen. The film will be released on January 21, 2027.
'Love and War' is Alia's second film with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Earlier, both of them had worked together in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi' released in the year 2022. Alia played the lead role in this film and for this she also received her first National Award for Best Actress. On Thursday, the makers released the first look of Ranbir Kapoor. In this, he was seen sitting on the driver's seat of a vintage sports car, a bullet mark was also visible on his hand.
Alia will be seen with her husband Ranbir Kapoor and actor Vicky Kaushal in 'Love and War'. Alia has previously worked with Vicky in Meghna Gulzar's film 'Raazi'. This was one of Alia's first successful films and also proved important for Vicky's career. Ranbir and Alia were earlier seen together in Ayan Mukherjee's 2022 film 'Brahmastra'. The film was a box office success and there were plans to expand the story into a trilogy. However, no information has been revealed yet regarding its sequel. The closeness of Ranbir and Alia increased during the shooting of 'Brahmastra'. After this, both of them got married in April 2022 and welcomed daughter Raha Kapoor in November.
