Willem Dafoe has expressed interest in playing James Bond villians amid growing public interest over the cast of the next installment.
Since Daniel Craig stepped down from his role as the British superspy after his last rle in 2021 007 movie, the franchise’s fans are excited to see the new cast who will take over under the new creative team of Amazon MGM studios.
Now, Willem has revealed that he would be interested in appearing in a James Bond movie.
The 71-year-old actor previously lent his voice and likeness to villain Nikolai Diavolo in the 2004 video game James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, which starred Pierce Brosnan as Bond.
Speaking with Collider, he said “I don’t want to send a little headline out there, but, you know, in the right situation.”
The actor also recalled his earliest memories of the long-running spy franchise, admitting that some of the more romantic scenes made him uncomfortable as a child.
The next 007 James Bond will presumably feature a new face however, the cast has not been revealed yet.
