Woman was looking for astrologer's number, lost Rs 5 lakh in cyber fraud, accused arrested

A shocking case has come to light in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, where a woman lost Rs 5 lakh due to cyber fraud. According to the woman, she was searching for an astrologer's number online. During that time some people came in contact with him. The accused harassed the alleged woman through obscene photos and took Rs 5 lakh by blackmailing her. When the woman and her family lodged a report against the thugs at the police station, the police arrested two accused on the basis of the complaint, while one accused is absconding.

 

This case is from Sant Kabir Nagar, Lucknow, where the police had given information about this case on Saturday. Police said that first the accused won the trust of the woman and then took Rs 5 lakh from the woman. According to the police, the accused had taken money from at least 20 to 25 women in this manner. At present the police is busy investigating.

The victim woman alleged that the accused had talked to her on video call. During that time some photographs of the woman were taken. After which those pictures were morphed. After this, the woman was threatened to make the same photo viral on social media. Rs 5 lakh was embezzled by blackmailing.

When the police started investigating this case seriously, they came to know that the accused had taken money from 20 to 30 women in this manner. This exposed the cyber fraud network. The third accused in this case is absconding from the eyes of the police, the police is busy searching for him.

 

Regarding this matter, Cyber ​​​​Police Circle Officer Amit Kumar said, 'Whatever evidence or accused comes to light during the investigation, they will be included in the case. Also, action will be taken as per law.
