An awareness program was organized by Trilokpur Police on Saturday night at the Durga Puja Pandal located in Gram Panchayat Bhandaria regarding the safety, respect and self-reliance of women and girls during Shardiya Navratri. Under the Mission Shakti campaign, the police team informed the women about their rights, safety measures and helpline numbers issued for assistance.
Mission Shakti team under the leadership of Sub Inspector Krishna Kumar Pandey made women and girls aware about women power, women respect and self-reliance. Policemen said that people should not remain silent if they face any kind of harassment or domestic violence or other problems while going to school or at home. Inform the police immediately.
