Xiaomi is preparing to add two new devices to its wearable and audio product portfolio. The company has teased the design and color options of Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm and REDMI Buds 8S a few days before the launch. Pre-orders for both devices have also started in China. The REDMI Buds 8S are expected to go on sale from September 22, while the Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm could be introduced alongside the Xiaomi 18 Pro series later this month.
Design of Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm
Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm is being offered as a more compact version than the previously launched 46mm model. It has a classic round watch design. Its weight is about 36 grams, while its thickness is said to be 0.99cm.
Talking about design, the smartwatch has a white ceramic bezel. Apart from this, it has a diamond shaped crown, which has 24 finely cut facets. This makes the watch look premium.
Smartwatch will come with HyperOS 4
Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm will run on the company’s HyperOS 4. The smartwatch has been designed keeping in mind the daily health and lifestyle needs. Features like smart workout suggestion, calorie intake management and UV intensity alert will be provided in it.
Regarding the battery, the company claims that this smartwatch can give up to 14 days of battery life on a single charge. In such a situation, normal users should not need to charge again and again.

REDMI Buds 8S will get semi-in-ear design
Coming in the audio segment, REDMI Buds 8S is being introduced with semi-in-ear design. According to the company, its design has been designed keeping in mind comfort during long-term use. The earbuds have an 11mm dynamic driver, which will handle the audio output. Apart from this, Xiaomi HyperConnect will be supported in REDMI Buds 8S, so that it can be connected more easily with compatible Xiaomi phones and other devices.
Xiaomi’s wearable and audio portfolio will expand
Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm and REDMI Buds 8S will further strengthen the company’s mid-to-premium wearable and audio segment. While Watch S5 focuses on 41mm small and lightweight design, health features and long battery life, REDMI Buds 8S is being introduced with easy connectivity and comfortable design.
At present, the company has not shared the complete price of these two devices and information about all the color variants. Other information related to their specifications, price and availability is expected to be revealed as the launch approaches.
Pre-booking started in China
Currently, pre-booking of Xiaomi Watch S5 41mm and REDMI Buds 8S has started in China through official channels. The REDMI Buds 8S are expected to go on sale from September 22, while the Watch S5 41mm could be introduced around the launch event of the Xiaomi 18 Pro series. The company may also release other information related to these two products in the coming days.
