Born on 28 December 1998 in Kolkata, Yash Thakur represented Vidarbha in domestic cricket and from there he took his cricket career to new heights. His performances in major domestic tournaments like Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy have put him in the list of emerging fast bowlers in the country.
