The women’s test match is being played between India and England at Lord’s Cricket Ground. In this match, Team India’s wicketkeeper batsman Yastika Bhatia has created history by scoring a century. Yastika has become the first woman player to score a Test century on this prestigious ground. Star opener Smriti Mandhana also had a golden opportunity to achieve this feat but she missed centuries in both the innings.
Yastika made this record

Captain Harmanpreet Kaur contributed 58 runs, while Deepti Sharma contributed 57 runs. After this, Kranti Gaur took 5 wickets and reduced England’s first innings to 170 runs. The Indian team got a lead of 115 runs. Team India has scored 336 runs at the loss of 7 wickets in its second innings. Harmanpreet Kaur Brigade has a total lead of 451 runs.
Smriti also did wonders in the second innings and scored 70 runs. Yastika played a memorable inning of 113 runs in 158 balls. She has become the first Indian female cricketer to score a century in the third or fourth innings of a Test. Team India on the threshold of victory
Today (July 12) is the third day of the Lord’s Test. Till the time of writing the news, the game of the second session is going on. Tomorrow (July 13) is the last day of the competition. The Indian team is standing on the threshold of victory. It remains to be seen whether Harmanpreet waits for the team to be all out in the second innings or declares the innings and calls England to bat today itself. England will have to take at least 4 sessions to avoid defeat, which is nothing less than impossible in the fourth innings.
