Yogi Adityanath reviews preparations for PM Modi’s visit to Hardoi

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath conducted an on-site inspection of the venue at Mallawan Cut in Bilgram tehsil, Hardoi district, on January 31, 2026, ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit on April 29 and the inauguration of the Ganga Expressway.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister reviewed arrangements for the helipad, public meeting venue, VIP route, parking, barricading, security, and traffic management, issuing necessary directions to officials.

He instructed that the Prime Minister’s event must be conducted in a well-organized, secure, and dignified manner, emphasizing that security should be the top priority and that negligence at any level would not be tolerated. He urged officials to ensure a multi-layered security system with effective coordination between the police and administration.

Regarding the venue, the Chief Minister directed that seating arrangements, the quality of the pandal, availability of drinking water, cleanliness, toilets, and uninterrupted electricity supply meet required standards. He stressed that the general public attending the event should not face any inconvenience and that all arrangements must function smoothly.

In reviewing traffic management, Yogi Adityanath instructed that traffic flow be maintained smoothly during the event, with alternative routes identified, sufficient police force deployed, and clear signboards installed to prevent public inconvenience.

He also inspected helipad and VIP movement arrangements, directing strict adherence to all protocols. The Chief Minister further instructed that emergency services, including ambulances, fire services, and medical facilities, be adequately available to handle any unforeseen situation effectively.

Taking detailed updates from officials, he directed that all work be completed within the allotted timeline and emphasized regular review of arrangements and immediate rectification of any shortcomings.

The Divisional Commissioner, District Magistrate, Superintendent of Police, and other senior administrative and police officials were present during the inspection. The District Magistrate presented a detailed plan of the program through a map and assured that all preparations would be completed on time.

Additionally, the Chief Minister ordered the plantation of the ‘Hari Shankari’ species around the venue to promote a green environment.

Concluding the inspection, he stated that the program is extremely important for the district and instructed all officials to work with full responsibility, coordination, and dedication to ensure its successful and dignified organization.
