Lucknow. The month of October can bring relief news for the government employees and pensioners of Uttar Pradesh. The state government is preparing to give bonus to employees and increase dearness allowance before Diwali. According to reports, the bonus amount could range from ₹3,400 to ₹7,000, while DA and DR of pensioners are likely to increase by 3 percent.
It is said that non-gazetted employees will get the benefit of bonus. Information has come to light from the department that the process will be taken forward in this regard. If the proposal is approved, additional money may reach the hands of the employees before the festival.
Every month's income will increase due to increase in DA
The increase in dearness allowance will have a direct impact on the monthly salary of the employees. At the same time, due to increase in DR for pensioners, there will be relief in their pension also. Lakhs of employees and pensioners will be affected if the proposed 3 percent increase is implemented.
Another supplementary budget also to be kept an eye on
Amidst this possible benefit to the employees, there is also a stir regarding the financial management of the state. Now news of the possibility of bringing another supplementary budget before the winter session of December has come to light.
In such a situation, the situation regarding bonus and DA-DR of employees may become more clear from the government in the coming days. At present, 3 percent increase and bonus amount are being seen as a possible proposal, the final decision will be clear only after the government order.
