In a video that went viral on social media, a photographer commented, “Try it on,” while Zareen was showing off a new collection of clothes. Zareen got angry and scolded the concerned saying, “Try in front of you? It’s not possible. Don’t do such nonsense with me. I won’t tolerate it at all.” On this occasion, Zareen also revealed the reason behind staying away from films for the past few years. As her mother Parveen Khan was chronically ill, she was fully occupied with her treatment and maintenance. She said that after her mother’s death in April, she is preparing to become active again in the field of acting.

After the film ‘Akele Hum Akele Tum’ released in 2021, she was away from the silver screen. According to Zareen, quality and content projects are currently being produced on the OTT platform.
