New Delhi. Aam Aadmi Party's national spokesperson Priyanka Kakkar has also left Arvind Kejriwal. Priyanka has left AAP and joined Congress. Priyanka's joining Congress before the assembly elections in Punjab is being considered as a big blow for AAP. Priyanka Kakkar took membership of Congress in the presence of senior leader Rajiv Shukla, party general secretary Syed Nasir Hussain, and Pawan Kheda at the Congress headquarters in Delhi.

Priyanka Kakkar, while explaining the reason for leaving the Aam Aadmi Party, said that I left the Aam Aadmi Party because earlier it was discussed that we would not even take a bungalow or a car, but later choppers also started being used for private travel. Aam Aadmi Party has promoted such new people who have not even worked at the booth level. Those people are being taken from Rajasthan and provided bungalow and car in Punjab. Aam Aadmi Party has deviated from its principles. Whatever Arvind Kejriwal had said, he did not do anything. During this, Priyanka Kakkar praised Rahul Gandhi and targeted Arvind Kejriwal.

Kakkar said, in small parties the national interest is left behind and one's own interest is put first. I neither like nor support such people. I thank the Congress leaders for humbly including me in the Congress. Apart from Priyanka Kakkar, two other leaders also took membership of Congress today. Former UP MLA Shyam Sundar Sharma also joined Congress today. Rajat Rakesh Tandon, a former journalist, has also joined Congress today. Rajat Rakesh has more than 20 years of journalism experience and comes from the family of freedom fighter Purushottam Das Tandon.
