We are also unanimous that reform of global institutions is essential to address growing global challenges. PM Modi said that we have taken many important decisions to increase the market access of Indian exporters to Switzerland and to further facilitate investment between the two countries. This will increase exports of India's agricultural, pharma, textile and engineering goods to Switzerland. At the same time, we will attract new Swiss investment in India's key sectors such as biotech, life sciences, banking, insurance, food processing and sustainability.

Modi appreciated the Swiss President's commitment towards India-Switzerland relations. He said that last year, with the support of President Guy Parmelin, we implemented a historic trade and economic partnership agreement between India and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) countries.
