Sanjay Raut said, “BJP will never file such a case. Even today Dalits are being tortured in this country. Caste discrimination still exists. Mallikarjun Kharge is the President of the Congress Party and is a senior leader. If BJP people purify the stage from where he gave the speech, then a case of atrocities should be registered against such people.”
In fact, Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi has termed the purification of the stage by performing Havan-Pooja after Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge's rally in Haldwani, Uttarakhand as a serious crime and untouchability. Rahul Gandhi has demanded immediate registration of FIR against the culprits under SC/ST Act.
On the other hand, Sanjay Raut also reacted to the statement given by RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat in New York.
Sanjay Raut said, “The statement that Mohan Bhagwat made in New York that the one who hates Muslims or wants Muslims to be thrown out of India is not a Hindu, and such a person cannot be called a Hindu, is an important statement. But Mohan Bhagwat should make the same statement here in India also.”
In fact, RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat had addressed more than 180 participants from 30 countries at the 'One World, One Humanity' program in New York. During this, he answered questions asked on the organization's perspective on Muslims.
Recalling a conversation he had with Muslim participants in Delhi in 2018, he had said, “Then I said – no. He is not a Hindu. If a Hindu thinks that there should be no Muslims in India, he will cease to be a Hindu. If you want to call yourself a Hindu, you have to believe that all roads lead to the same direction. And every human being has a dignity. There is no difference among human beings.”
