2026 Volkswagen Taigun Facelift Arrives At Dealerships [Video]

The in-depth video walkaround of the newly launched Volkswagen Taigun facelift has been shared on YouTube by Sidharth Jain on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that the Volkswagen Taigun facelift has started arriving at dealerships, and he then starts explaining the variants and pricing of this SUV. He starts by stating that this time it is being offered in 7 variants, and it starts at Rs 10.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.30 lakh (ex-showroom).

Of these, the base variant is the Comfortline, which is priced at Rs 10.99 lakh. Then there are the Highline and Highline Plus variants. He explains that the company has continued offering the GT Line variant with the 1.0-litre engine, and the Topline is the top-spec variant in the 1.0-litre lineup. Additionally, there are also the same GT Plus Chrome and GT Plus Sport. The vehicle seen in the video is the GT Plus variant.

Elaborating more on the pricing, the vlogger explains that Taigun’s cousin Skoda Kushaq facelift was also recently launched in India. Now, the difference between the two is that, although the Taigun base variant is Rs 30,000 more expensive than the Kushaq, the difference between Kushaq’s base and second base variant is Rs 3.90 lakh.

However, with the Taigun, the difference between the base Comfortline and second base Highline variant is only Rs 1.70 lakh. Hence, even if the Taigun base may seem more expensive, when one goes up in the lineup, the difference is not as substantial.
