The security agencies of India had launched a campaign against terrorists just before the Independence Day, in which the security agencies discovered the network of Shehzad Bhatti supporting the ISI. 253 members of this gang have been arrested, against whom more than 80 FIRs were registered in 14 states of the country. According to the security agency, this gang was going to attack the country on August 15, but this gang was exposed even before the Independence Day. Indian security agencies have done commendable work in this matter. For this reason, Home Minister Amit Shah has praised the security agencies.
Amit Shah had posted on his X account regarding the exposure of the terrorist gang. In this post he said that Indian security forces conducted operations in 14 states and exposed this network. This is a perfect example of India's zero tolerance policy against terrorism. Along with this, Amit Shah said that a large quantity of weapons were found with the people of this gang, which included pistols made in Pakistan. Apart from this, a camera used for espionage has also been recovered.

How did Shahzad create his network?
According to the investigation of security agencies, Shahzad Bhatti, based in Pakistan, was running a terrorist network in India. He used to befriend Indian Muslim youth through social media. He especially used to make economically weak youth his victims. After this, he used to trap the Indian youth in his fundamentalist ideas.
When the Indian youth were completely engrossed in what Shehzad said, they were made a part of the network. These youth were given the work of spying and keeping surveillance at many places. Besides, they were also given weapons. According to the investigation by security agency officials, these youth were being prepared to attack on Independence Day.

253 people were arrested
On August 12, the police arrested members of the terrorist network. Of these, maximum 62 youth were arrested from Uttar Pradesh. 51 youth were arrested from the capital Delhi, 44 from Punjab, 15 from Rajasthan, five each from Maharashtra and Uttarakhand.
