There was an uproar over the delimitation bill in South India, BJP MP said that Congress has divided Andhra Pradesh into two pieces.
New Delhi. Bharatiya Janata Party MP Tejashwi Surya launched a scathing attack on the opposition and regional parties of the south in the Lok Sabha on Thursday. He stressed that the concerns being raised regarding the Delimitation Bill are politically motivated and mere propaganda. Speaking in the lower house of Parliament, Surya asked why the opposition parties and some regional parties in the south, led by the DMK, were making so much noise. The tears he is shedding. Those are crocodile tears. I am thankful to God that when delimitation takes place in the country in 2026, it will be completed by the BJP led central government. The Congress government had divided Andhra Pradesh into two parts and had done worse than the British in the matter of partition of the country.

The MP said that I come from South Karnataka and in the last three days we have seen that the opposition in South India has done a very chaotic and well-planned work of misleading and propaganda. Describing it as a historic moment, Surya said that the women of India had been waiting for almost four decades for representation in national policy-making. Now she is ready to get her rights with the implementation of the Women’s Reservation Bill. He also accused the opposition of trying to stall the delimitation process by raising hollow and baseless objections. She said that today is truly a historic day as finally the women of India, who had been waiting for almost 40 years for their right to participate in the national policy-making process, will finally get their due.
