‘The Copenhagen Test’ axed at Peacock after Season 1
Peacock has decided not to continue The Copenhagen Testopting against a second season.
After just one season, which aired on December 27, 2025, the streamer has pulled the plug on the espionage thriller led by Simu Liu and Melissa Barrera, as per Variety.
Created by Thomas Brandon and executive produced by James Wan, The Copenhagen Test followed first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst Simu Liu as Alexander Hale, who discovers his mind has been hacked, allowing unseen attackers to access everything he sees and hears. Trapped between a shadowy agency and mysterious hackers, he’s forced into a constant act 24/7 in order to expose those responsible and demonstrate his allegiance.

Besides the Barbie star Simu, the show also starred Melissa Barrera, Sinclair Daniel, Sara Amini, Adam Godley, Kathleen Chalfant, Adina Porter and more.
Thomas Brandon created and wrote The Copenhagen Testserving as executive producer alongside co-showrunner and EP Jennifer Yale.
