Saket court has sent Rahul Meena, accused of murdering the daughter of an IRS officer in Delhi, to four days’ police custody. After his arrest, Delhi Police presented him in the court and sought his remand for questioning. Meanwhile, during the hearing today, Rahul Meena said in the court that I made a mistake. I took it for the money. He also told the court that he tried to take the fingerprints of the deceased by dragging her body so that the locker containing the cash could be opened. Police investigation revealed that the accused was addicted to online games and due to this he had fallen into a debt of Rs 5 lakh.
The police demanded the remand of Rahul Meena and said that the investigation is still in the initial stage. We have to do a detailed investigation. The mobile phone has been recovered from the accused. Rahul Meena is accused of committing a crime in Alwar. We are investigating that also.
This is how a conspiracy was hatched
Police interrogation revealed that the accused came to Delhi in an ambulance lift after raping a woman living in the neighborhood in Alwar. After this he reaches his old master’s house. The accused had worked here for about one and a half years. Therefore, he also knew who stays in the house when and where the access card is kept. On the day of the incident, as soon as the IRS officer and his wife left the house, the accused entered the house after some time. With the help of the access card kept in the shoe rack, he reached inside and went straight to the girl’s study room. He first asks for money from the girl and says that aunty has called him to give the money. But when the girl told him how did you come inside, he first made excuses and then started strangulating her to control her.

When the girl still did not come under control, he used the wire of the mobile charger and then attacked her several times with a lamp lying nearby. When the girl became unconscious, he raped her and then dragged her body from the study room upstairs to the locker below. In fact, the locker of the house in which money and jewelery were kept, opens only with the finger impressions of the IRS officer, his wife and the deceased, the accused knew this. Therefore, he places the finger of the deceased on the locker, but due to blood on it, the locker does not open completely, after which he opens the locker using a screwdriver. After this he runs away with money and jewellery. While leaving home, he pretends to talk on his mobile phone, so that no one suspects him.
After committing the crime, he reached Palam Airport, where after missing the train, he took an auto and went to a hotel in Dwarka. But eventually the police trace him and he is caught. During interrogation, the accused told that he worked here for one and a half years. He used to get a salary of around Rs 20 thousand. Not only this, gifts and money were also received on every festival. But he got addicted to online games, after which he started losing money. For this reason, he started taking goods on credit from all the shops in the neighborhood. When the IRS officer came to know about this, he first explained to the accused and when he did not improve, he fired him.
There was a loan of Rs 5 lakh
According to sources, he had a debt of around Rs 5 lakh due to online games, so he targeted the house of his old owner. He committed this crime very brutally. Traces of blood were found throughout the house. There are many injury marks on the body of the deceased.
