Elephant massacre in Angamaly, Kerala, painful death of the driver

Kerala elephant attack: A very heart-wrenching incident has come to light today in Angamaly, Kerala. An elephant suddenly went out of control near Kidangoor Mahavishnu Temple and crushed a 40-year-old man to death. Another person was seriously injured in this accident and was immediately admitted to the hospital. The police team that reached the spot is trying to control the situation but this incident has created an atmosphere of panic in the entire area.

The deceased has been identified as Vishnu, a resident of Kollam. The surprising and sad thing is that Vishnu was the driver of the same vehicle in which the elephant was brought to the temple. When the elephant started creating ruckus, Vishnu was trying to pacify it but the angry animal attacked him. A video of this incident is also going viral on social media, in which the anger of the elephant and the chaos created there can be seen. The treatment of injured Mahavat Pradeep is still going on.

Police engaged in investigation and legal action

Kerala elephant attack: According to preliminary information, the name of this elephant is Mayyanad Parthasarathy which was brought for the festival to be held in a nearby temple. The police are now investigating how the elephant suddenly became so violent and whether there were adequate security arrangements. At present, the police has sent Vishnu’s body for post-mortem and it will be handed over to the family after the completion of the legal process. This sudden accident devastated Vishnu’s family.
