18 deaths due to storm and lightning in Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath strict!

In the last few days, life has been badly affected in many parts of Uttar Pradesh due to incidents of excessive rain, strong storm and lightning. So far 18 people have died in this natural disaster, while 5 people are said to be injured. Along with this, 24 animals have also lost their lives, due to which people in rural areas are facing further losses.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has expressed deep sorrow over this incident and expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. CM Yogi said that the government stands with every affected family in this difficult time. The CM has given clear instructions to the officials that the injured should be given immediate and proper treatment so that there is no negligence of any kind.

CM Yogi has issued strict orders to speed up relief operations. He has said that all the District Magistrates (DMs) themselves should be present in the field and monitor the relief operations. Also, if needed, help should be provided immediately by coordinating with the government. He has also directed that the loss of life, loss of animals and injuries caused by excessive rain, storm and lightning should be compensated within 24 hours.

The Chief Minister said that any kind of negligence will not be tolerated in this entire matter. The administration has been instructed to work with full seriousness and speed so that the affected people can get relief as soon as possible.

It is noteworthy that for some time now, the weather patterns have been changing suddenly in many parts of the country including Uttar Pradesh. At some places it is raining heavily and at other places hail is falling. Such unseasonal rains and hailstorms in a hot month like May have created problems for the people, especially for the poor and people living in rural areas.

The Meteorological Department has also issued a warning of strong thunderstorm, rain and lightning in many districts during the next 24 hours. The administration has appealed to people to stay indoors during inclement weather and stay away from open spaces, trees and electric poles.
