New Delhi: On 9 May 2026, Gujarat Titans took a big step towards the playoffs by defeating Rajasthan Royals by 77 runs at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium. Rajasthan team could not stand in front of Shubman Gill’s stormy innings and Rashid Khan’s magical bowling.

It is noteworthy that the pair of Gujarat captain Shubman Gill and Sai Sudarshan has now become one of the most successful opening pairs in IPL history. Both of them have made the highest century partnerships for Gujarat. Not only this, he has also equaled the IPL record of opening partnership of 100+ runs.
For Sunrisers, David Warner-Shikhar Dhawan and Abhishek Sharma-Travis Head had added 100+ runs 6-6 times. Gill-Sudarshan have also now made 6 century partnerships.
