Chandranath Murder Case: ‘Professionals were hired to kill Suvendu’s PA’, shocking revelations of SIT

Chandranath Murder Case: Chandranath Rath, PA of BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari, has been shot dead in West Bengal. Investigating agencies believe that professional killers were hired for the murder. The killers had also done Reiki 3 to 4 days ago. The incident is said to have happened around 10.20 pm. Chandranath Rath was riding in his white Scorpio. The attackers stopped one of their vehicles with their car and fired heavily at the car from close range.

Investigation revealed that the attackers had allegedly fired several rounds from Glock 47X pistols. Five bullets have been recovered from Chandranath’s chest and stomach. At the same time, Buddhadev Bera, who was driving the car, was also hit by bullets. His condition also remains critical. Chandranath died due to excessive bleeding and failure of vital organs. He was declared dead on reaching the hospital.

According to eyewitnesses and the police, a car stopped Rath’s SUV and then a bike came from the side, on which the attackers placed their pistols near the window and started firing. As soon as the firing took place, the car and bike riders fled from the spot. Police have also recovered the bike on which Chandranath was fired upon. Police said that the attackers’ car also had a fake number plate. Police have seized the car used in the crime. DGP Siddhanath Gupta said that empty cartridges and live ammunition have been recovered from the incident site. The motive of the murder has not been clear yet.

CCTV video surfaced

According to the information, the police is also examining the CCTV footage. Yesterday a CCTV video also surfaced, in which Chandranath’s car is visible. The police is busy finding more information about the accused with the help of CCTV cameras.

Know what Suvendu Adhikari said on the murder

Suvendu has described his PA’s death as murder, cold blooded and a conspiracy hatched with full planning. Suvendu said that Chandranath was murdered because of his successful management in the elections of Nandigram and Bhawanipur. The attackers were unhappy with my victory on both the seats. Suvendu said that the attackers had done recce before the murder. He chased Chandranath and shot him at close range.

TMC criticized the murder

Mamata Banerjee’s TMC has criticized the murder. The party says that there is no place for murder and violence in democracy. TMC has demanded a CBI inquiry into the murder. However, on this demand Suvendu said that he has confidence in the West Bengal Police and it is working properly. Let us tell you, BJP has accused TMC of conspiring to commit murder. However, TMC has rejected BJP’s allegations.
